First try to work with worbla's

Extremely happy today :)! Since last night I nearly finished work on the shape of that armprotector thing. It’s not perfect, but for a first try it is not bad at all I think. Thinking about using that stuff for my next armour as well :).

But back to the thing I’d like to show you:

These were the single parts:

I used a hair dryer to “glue” them together since the stuff is moldable when heated. It’s very good to make gauntlets and bracelets I think for it is moldable directly on skin.

Besides I thought I killed my hair drier during the first try xD. But turned out I just overheated it a bit. Heat guns are of course surely better for this purpose but I don’t own one so I had to go with the best substitute available.

And here is a pic of the finished one.^^ Just have to paint it now and to add the holders on the other side. Just noticed when finished that it’s a little unfortunate that it isn’t bendable but well.^^ But it will be very light! :) And if it gets utterly on my nerves I can take it off easily.^^
