Last minute crafting again …

Since today was a holiday I used it for extensive crafting and somehow I had a real flow more or less :) 

I nearly finished Lal Mirch’s corrupted pacifier I started to make last night. Only have to paint the lid now. In the end I had to go for the cheaper version since I didn’t get casting resin in time and for an acceptable price. So now I just used an Edding, a plastic bulb, freezer bags and a little bit of fimo light for it. Turned out nice regarding the materials to my mind though :). And just cost me less than 1 Euro.

I just cut circles out of the freezer bags of the same size as the bulb. Painted the patterns onto them with edding and stuffed them inside,  before I made the lid out of Fimo light. And yes, I made it a little bended on purpose since I preferred that look over an exactly straight one.

Ok, I also nearly finished Lal’s gun thing. Just have to fasten it to my arm now. (Something I’m still wondering about how I’ll make that exactly and maybe spray paint the cables… Not sure about that cause after my first try the colour chipped of a little when I still had to bend it.

Oh sorry, forgot: I used telephone cable, rests of cable rope, worbla’s finest art for the hand protector, fimo light for the fat egglike thing and acrylic to paint everything.

So much about the gun.

I also finished to batik Lal’s cape, but it’s still drying so the outcome is still unsure cause last time the colour became a lot lighter after drying.

Finally I also made some progress regarding the hilt (tsuba) of Kurikara.  The Fimo is still drying and as already said I want to present it in an extra entry when it finally will be completely finished which is now just a question of time. Just have to sand the tsuba now and spraypaint tsuba and blade.

And I still have to make Lal’s excentric gorilla shoulder protector and arm and leg warmers. I guess I will get finished intime if I manage to start today on the gorilla too.

Hm, I guess all these pieces show though that I'm more or less out of time. If I'm not things turn out a little more neat.
