Happy new cosplay year 2017!

Well, I usually used to post these only on deviantart. But somehow I feel like posting my traditional memes everywhere today xD.
The first shows which cosplays I thought I'd do in January 2016 and which ones I really did.

As always the result were a bit different from the original plans xD. But my most wished for cosplay of course became reality and was actually my very favourite from 2017: Kija from Akatsuki no Yona. I was so flashed, that I cosplayed him nearly at every con and a shooting ^-^ and even borrowed Hak from a friend twice xD. On the other hand Narsus and Ryouga were postponed again for group reasons. And Freya, Karura and Lyn for time reasons. I just want Freya to become as awesome as she deserves and therefore want to put more time into that cosplay. Shigure Sohma from Fruits Basket was pure fun :). I really have fun in that cosplay and love to fool around xD. He will get his haori as well and be worn at a real con then. ^^ At least if I'm lucky cause Furuba's no fun alone.
Well, Kurama also was cosplayed as expected although I cosplayed him even more often and had to instantaneously make another version as well as I was still not 100% healthy again at Epiccon. The big surprise was Kazuma though. I never expected to make a suit in the near future again, but it happened. Due to lots of character love, a friend who is very much into Noragami, the fricking awesomeness of that manga and her being a great Bishamon... yeah....

So, now about the other maybe more interesting parts: Ideas for 2017 :)

So of course I want to do some of the cosplays I didn't manage last year. Namely Narsus, Freya and Ryouga and I've groups for every single of these series now ^-^. Oh and I want to make my own Hak cosplay :). On the other hand I am so much in love now with Kazuma, that I also want to cosplay his past version and relive theses awesome tragic moments ^-^. Zuko is another favourite character I really wish to cosplay especially as a friend cosplayed uncle Iroh last year *-*.
And of course I'm still flashed by Akatsuki no Yona xD. So ... more cosplays to come of some minor characters: Lee Geun-tae as he's just so great xD and I'd even have a wife ^^ and a king although I'm not sure if this makes me really happy xD.... and... somehow I've talked myself into participating in a first generation dragons group... so it has to be Kija's ancestor of course ^^ (afterall I've already got that dragon claw. Oh, talking about talking myself into something ^^'', when I was still really really upset while working on Kazuma I talked to another friend on the phone after just having watched the Sinbad no Bouken anime on netflix... well, somehow we got the plan then to cosplay Spartos and his big brother now xD. Yay, so I finally get another a bit more comfy SNB cos xD without armor. This is also the cosplay I'm currently working on aside from Freya.
What about the rest? I'd really like to make another Gokudera version again. He already feels so neglected and I still love my alltime favourite character... and the fabric lies ready in my closet for that school uniform I have never cosplayed yet.
Also for Lyn the fabric's all ready... it's just... I'm not sure if I'm able to make that dress... have to see...
Well another character who popped up recently is also Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs. I really love the humor of that show with famous authors for characters. And Dazai's just such an idiot and such a calculating asshole at the same time xD. Well due to a weblog also Libertá popped up in my wishlist again, especially as the cosplay's rather easy except for the hairstyle ^^''.... Well and for Keiji I've already got fabric and he's waiting for some years now. But... I'm not sure if I will have enough time for another big project. Especially if I really want to make another Kurama version featuring wings even. So... so much about my thoughts for next year. I feel really motivated to think at least. The needle has not been moving though for quite some days now... but maybe because I should rather engrave and don't know how to start. This always keeps me from working... Ok, Hopefully Cu soon, possibly with a progress report of Mystras.
