Cosplay current

Forgotten nearly-finished Post dated in september:

Hey guys :)!

Somehow I got over my Animagic cosplay paddy and fortunately got me working on my cosplays planned for Connichi on 7.9. – 9.9. 2012 already plus the still to be finished one originally planned for Japanday in June. 

But finally Ling was finished about a week ago excluding wig and sword and I even finally got a chance to wear that cosplay yesterday and even without freezing.

Plus I already finished my cosplay for Connichi Friday which is to be: Sohma Kyo from Fruits Basket in schooluniform. Although I’m not sure if the haircut and copper red / orange suits me, the uniform’s nice  and I love his beads xD.

So since I commissioned my cosplay for Connichi Saturday (Hinata Hideki from Angel Beats) with great forethought from a friend… there is only xD Meiko  in her Synchronicity version left. And although I thought nothing could stop me after Vongola Gear… Meiko’s driving me nuts today.  Even though I easily made up a pattern for all the small parts (leg and arm protectors) the armour in itself is a little problem still to be solved. Especially regarding the part where the collar is connected to the torso. But I only tried today so there seems to be still some time left to find a solution.

In the end I wasn't able to wear Meiko at Connichi cause of the still unfinished fastenings. But we had a little shooting at my hometown some weeks later instead. Still this cosplay doesn't really persist... Have to rework the fastenings badly.... and on top of that: The movement in it is limited to slow motion xD So I guess I'm not really enthusiastic enough to wear this monster at a con XD. But we are going to shoot it again, hopefully with the whole group. This time it was just Gakupo and me.

I didn't use enough make up I was told and I was nearly dead that day cause of a great lack of sleep... The pics were taken by a good friend, our Luka besides.

But enough about Meiko now... there are quite some other cosplays too... as already mentioned Kyo Sohma and Ling Yao, which I like both. Not to mention I enjoyed a whole KH Reborn! con again last weekend at Bookfair Frankfurt, cosplaying young G. in the very casual version from the memory fragments during Shimon arc. And spontaneously Gokudera in schooluniform again.

Enjoyed both days greatly especially cause of Giotto/Tsuna and Cozart/(this time) Dino xD. Days full of laughter in short.

Oh, but I mentioned new plans as well, right?  I finally got me a nice wig for Okumura Rin from Ao no Exorcist :). I know, a protagonist... and very overcossed, but I simply like that guy and share one or another trait with him as well... soo finally this winter I think I will finish that cosplay. Additionally for Halloween I plan to cosplay Gokudera's werecat version from the Monstertamer Tsuna omake xD. Already got me nice gray faux fur xD to make cat-ears and tail. And I'm going to start working on his CAI version so that I won't be as stressed again next year since I want to wear it in April for Animuc in Munich.

Oh besides Munich :) going to visit friends and start the new year there :) and I'm already really looking forward to it.
