It first comes always differently and secondly, never as you think... part2!

So... well... due to the weather forecast we had to change plans and for that reason I simply decided not to practice and just try to make up this burn scar...

So in the morning I noticed: Shit... the latex I bought behaves differently! It was much to runny and as I got to know at the con later on from another Zuko cosplayer (great to meet her besides!) there are different types XD and mine is possibly only good for bigger long term stuff.

Ok... so I last minute decided to go back to what I know... Afterall years back I already had made a nice burn scar for Lal Mirch from KH Reborn! using gelatine.

So... I just put it into cold water for about 10 minutes, then into a bit of hot to solve it a little and just splashed it onto my face in small slimy portions. Really takes a bit of patience and a hair dryer to accelerate the drying a bit.

 Afterwards I used some make up tips from this great youtube tutorial by Tal Munis. Basically I used lip stich though for the colour on the gelatine but also a tiny bit of red aqua colour and basic powder. Especially on the eye brow and around the scar I also used foundation. In the area just around the eye without gelatine I also applied some red aquacolour and quite some dark red/violet, brown and even black eyeshadow. The result before peeling of some extras was about this:

As I thought it would fit better to the scarred eye I put on even less makeup to hide the dark circles under my other eye xD.
Well... I very happy with the result in fact. I just want to improve hiding the eyebrow next and maybe I might use a bit less of black colour on my eye.

Well... I just wasn't so happy to use public transport on my own going through half of Vienna right before noon looking like this... I was sursprised though that I didn't see any stares o.O or maybe I just didn't want to see them... ^^''. 

The con day all in all was very warm and great. It was very much fun with the Ember Island gang :) and we also met another Zuko (as already said), a book fire Katara and two Tophs at the con :). 

So really want to do his later book fire version now and the tea serving version from Ba Sing Se ^-^. And of course wear this cosplay again. A shooting at a river or lake together would also be great.
