A vital sign ;)

So, new year, finally an overdue new blog entry.

Since I got relocated and a new job I refrained from blogging for a while cause other stuff was clearly more important.

 

But I'm still alive, still cosplaying and I used the Christmas and New Year Days to continue my work on Hotohori’s artworkversion from Fushigi Yuugi, so that the cosplay’s nearly finished now after half a year and a huge break in the making process. I just had to start after cosplaying my Khan gijinka cause I used the wig I had originally bought for him for it... Well I postponed it again cause I had troubles to make it fit perfectly and other projects became more important. But this year in late May I will finally have a group :)! So I wanted to finish it early on to avoid some stress.

After already having the underkimono finished for months and the base of the red 'shirt',

 I just added the edging now (handsewn again ^^’’’), made those Chinese Sun knots by using a tutorial and it isn’t completely easy. I practiced beforehand though. Plus I sewed the bracers or whatever that is out of golden artificial leather. Easy and comfortable to wear :) (unfortunately I there is no photo and it's too late to make one). Plus it looks quite true to the original now. So mainly only boots, plait and the sword are missing. 

On the other hand I did quite some repairs on Gokudera’s dynamite and Lal Mirch’s stuff cause I want to wear both cosplays again this year (regarding Gokudera I refer to his ringbattle version xD). 

I also racked my brain how to make Drakon’s armour cause time is running regarding such a project which should be finished in mid April… I have the golden artificial leather for that ready as well but I don’t know how to start best… Plus I still need to order a wig and to get something I can use for these damn boots of his -.-‘’’……..

On the other hand I finally want to finish work on Young Griff from A Song of Ice and fire (just the finishing touches are still missing!) and buy some stuff to cosplay Kida Masaomi from Drrr!! again and a better shirt for Gokudera's ringbattle version.

Hopefully I will be able to work on this together with friends to muster some more motivation.

My first con this year happens to be Ticon in February. Yoshi and I haven't decided yet what to wear except for Drrr!!. 

The next one might be Animuc in April. Friday I'm going to cosplay Gokudera's ringbattle version, one day hopefully Drakon, the other hopefully Young Griff if my plans match with the groups I'd like to join.
